625 Plus

UNS #N07716

625 Plus is a precipitation hardenable, nickel-base alloy providing high levels of strength while maintaining corrosion resistance, even in applications where large-section size or intricate shape precludes warm or cold working. With corrosion resistance similar to that of 625 and superior to 718, 625 Plus offers exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking as well as general, pitting and crevice corrosion in the age hardened condition and is ideal for applications in severely corrosive or marine environments. A yield strength (0.2% offset) above 120 ksi (827 MPa) can be obtained by aging without prior warm or cold working. The precipitation hardening capability is particularly important in applications where large-section size or intricate shape precludes warm working.
